Our Horses

All three of our horses ride English and Western. The each have something to teach. Students ride each horse/pony when they are ready.

Moki is small and gets the rider familiar with horse care in an accessible package. He also has a pony personality and teaches riders to pay attention. If you ride correctly and with purpose, he will be very good; if not, he teaches you to be patient until you get it right.

Oakley takes very good care of her riders. She takes the path and follows it until you are ready to steer her from it. She is slow and steady for new riders and steps it up a notch when she feels the rider is ready. She loves to be brushed, get treats and hugs.

Karmel is a big love. He teaches riders that big horses can be gentle too. When he was much younger, he taught many beginners confidence and took them to first shows. Now he likes to show riders a good time and is best for advanced riders, though still very steady on trails with new riders.
